I created a graphic button, and placed it in the work area. I created an "Action" and I gave it a "Transformation", "Scaling" action of "0.38".
I saved the "Action" by pressing "OK", then reopened the "Action" and gave it the Timing duration of 0.2
You have to give it a pasted in value of "0.2"
In other words you have to copy (0.2) from another program (note pad) and then paste it into the window. Just 0.2 no quotes or parenthesis.
I then created a behavior for this button object and left it blank.
I then created another object using the graphic creator in the tool bar. I created a rectangle about the same size as the button. I left the border visible but you can make it invisible, using the quick editor. Right click the mouse, and choose Quick editor. Click on the outline tab and set the outline to a thickness value of zero, if you do not want the outline visable.
I then created a behavior for this object.
Under "Trigger event" under "User Triggers" I checked "Mouse Over"
Under "Dynamic Trigger", I checked "On Object Leave"
Under "End Event" under "User Resets" I checked "Mouse Leave"
Under "Dynamic Resets" I checked "On Object Enter"
I then clicked on the action tab within the "Behavior Event Editor" under "When Triggered Active" the choice "Trigger Behavior" and in the scrolling choice box, chose "Obj2" which is the button I created earlier and first.
I Placed the button over the rectangular outline. Leaving it in focus, I clicked on "Arrange" from the main menu, then "Order", then I clicked on bring to front.
Saved and published it. It worked well. It finishes it's cycle completely no matter what, something the other method I posted earlier does not do exactly. I still notice a slight expansion though as it loads. But not a total expansion.
I also placed an invisible border and button as well, so you can see both methods.
Sincerely,
William McCormick
